His Lord ship Jerry Silaa, Mayor of
Ilala Municipal, receives a bouquet of flowers from Mr. Hitesh Patel, the
chairman of patel brotherhood, patel (SAMAJ) during the opening of ten days
ceremony of great festive celebration of Navaratri & Diwali. In his speech
he mayor encourage all Tanzanians to observe the basic human rights, the
freedom of worshiping and respect to one's belief so that societies can enjoy
living in peace and harmony. The expresses his immense pleasure to be part of
the celebration as the festival attracts people from all over the world to come
and enjoy peace, harmony, culture and enrich the same by bringing their own
culture and traditions.
The word Navaratri means nine nights and
its a festival dated to the worship of a Hindu deity Shakti. The mayor was
the guest of honor of the event.
