Tanzania’s official Apple Authorised Reseller, iStore, launched its Milmani City branch on Saturday 1st June. The low key store launch was attended by regular customers and other consumers interested in buying genuine and affordable Apple products right here in Dar es Salaam.

“There has been a general perception that purchasing Apple products, like iPads and iMacs as well as the related accessories, can be expensive in Tanzania. At iStore we are only too happy to dispel these myths and invite customers to a unique premium retail experience. We currently have two iStores in Dar es Salaam, at Milmani City as well as Shoppers Plaza,” said Vipul Shah CEO of iStore. There will be a new branch of iStore opening in Masaki in the fourth quarter of 2013, where customers can access a friendly and knowledgably in store Team trained by Apple.

Historically in Tanzania there have been instances of “grey goods” or even counterfeit products being sold to consumers as genuine products. As anAuthorised Reseller, each product available from iStore is fully backed by a manufacturer’s warranty as well as access to a care programme for a nominal fee. Customers can expect all products on display at iStore to be readily available as well as being the latest models on the market.

The iStore Team is available to take customers through an introduction of their Apple purchases. For a small fee, our One2One service can also be pre-booked with aMAC Genius for customers that require amore in depth session. The MAC Genius can take new customers through their new Apple product, or help former Windows users move their information and files to their new Mac computer.

Mr Shah commented further, “The products and services we provide are world class just like the brand we sell. We know that everyone builds a relationship with their Apple product, and iStore is an integral part of that relationship, from purchase right through to after sales service and support. Our products are also available to consumers all over Tanzania. All they need to do is order their productvia emailfrom the Dar es Salaam stores, and they will be delivered to their door by courier within two days.”Consumers can find iStore online at www.istore.co.tz the website will soon feature all the products and services available from iStore. Customers can also find us on Facebook as iStore Dar.

The Milmani City iStore was launched with a clean new look that will set the tone for future iStores in Tanzania. Therefurbished originaliStore, situated at Shoppers Plaza, Mikocheni, will open its doors on Monday 3rd June.
