ZANTEL LAUNCHES TWO NEW OFFERS

Zantel Tanzania customers now have more reason to smile after the mobile phone operator announced two offers in a bid to it make it one of the most affordable networks in the country.

For mainland customers under the ‘Freedom’ offer, they will enjoy calling for half a shilling per second all day and other networks for Tsh2 per second all day. While those in Zanzibar under the Uhuru offer can call within the network for Tsh1 per second from 8am -5 pm and thereafter call for a quarter shilling (0.25) after the 3rd minute. They can also call other networks for only 2.25 shilling all day.

To top it up, Zantel customers will also be able to call 5 popular international destinations (Kenya, India, Pakistan, UAE and China) for only TSH 4 per second.

“All these changes are aimed at giving value for money to our customers as they communicate and interact with their families, friends, colleagues and business associates within the Zantel network,” said Zantel’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Ahmed Mokhles when commenting about the offers.

Existing Zantel users have to dial *148*06# to join the offers while the new users will be automatically connected after they recharge with Tsh500 and also get 1000 FREE SMS to be used the whole month as well as 1 FREE ring back tone for the whole month.

Zantel has also decided to extend the Tick Tock & Win promotion which started in April after receiving a lot of testimonials on how the promotion helped their customers improve their lives.

Since its launch, the promo has enabled 25 lucky winners won Tsh1 million shillings and 24 Nokia phones daily. Uniquely, the promotion didn’t require sending any message or deduction of airtime; rather it simply required Zantel customers to top up/recharge with TSH 1,000 or more and their numbers were automatically placed into that day’s draw.
