The Tanzania Women Football Team, Twiga Stars receives assistance of practice equipments from an insurance company Maxinsure, that worth 1.3 Million during the press conference at TFF offices Dar-es-salaam on 12th-July-2012. The equipments provided involves full Jerseys, Beeps and Balls that will help the team during their time of practices.

“We have seen the talent and the hardworking of these girls. And we believe the Team only needs great support for them to represent well the country. As Maxinsure Company we feel obligated to help and support the team as one way of providing to our society and the county at large. Said the Public Relations of Maxinsure Amisa Juma.

Twiga Stars currently is been struggling to get full sponsorship, since the team is lacking enough support to operate. The Information Officer of TFF Mr. Boniface Wambura said, “We genuinely appreciate Maxinsure for the support they have shown, for us there is no little support. However we urge other companies to take this as an example and help these girls because they have got great talent that lacks support”.
