Jana usiku tumeona nusu fainali ya kwanza ya GUINNESS® FOOTBALL CHALLEGE™ ambapo timu ya Ghana walionesha kuwa wao ni timu bora baada ya kushinda na kuwa timu iliyoshinda kiasi kikubwa zaidi cha pesa.

Jonathan Nabb and Desmond Odaano showed that they have the confidence to live bold sensationally knocking out their rivals and going on to hit target four on the GUINNESS Money Wall taking their winnings from the episode to over $12,000 to add to their $8,500 from previous rounds.

Going home, but not empty handed with their $ 5,500 USD winnings from their National episodes and Quarter Finals were Daniel Msekwa and Mwalimu Akida Hamad from Dar Es Salaam.  The pressure will now be on the final two teams from Kenya in the next Semi-Final as they will be flying the flag for the whole of East Africa.

Winners, Jonathan and Desmond, were also awarded $4,000 in recognition of the amazing effort they put in through the first two rounds, which saw a completely flawless performance.  They showed how to live bold, not faltering on any question or missing any opportunity with the ball.  They have now secured a spot on the first Pan-African Final and are in with a chance of raising their country’s flag as champions.

Joining Jonathan and Desmond in the final will be the show’s runners-up Francis Ngigi and Kepha Kimani from Nairobi who narrowly missed out on the GUINNESS Money Wall but will still have a chance of becoming champions.  Their fellow countrymen Kenneth Kamau and Willis Ogutu didn’t make it to the final stages of the episode and will be leaving the pride of East Africa in Francis’ and Kepha’s hands. 

Watakaowaunga washindi ni Francis Ngigi na Kepha Kimani kutoka Nairobi  waliokuwa washindi wa pili.Japokuwa hawakufanikiwa kufikia hatua ya pesa ujutani lakini wamefuzu fainali.Wenzao kutika Kenya Kenneth Kumau na Wills Ogutu hawakufanikiwa kufuzu hivyo Francis na Kepha ndio watakaowakilisha Afrika mashariki.

Vying for their chance in the Finals in the second Semi-Final are the following football fanatics:

EAST AFRICA

·         IN BLACK - Ephantus Nyambura, 24, and Samuel Papa, 23, from Nairobi will be hoping to do better than the $3,000 they won in their National and Quarter Final episodes.  Ephantus will be the Brain of the pair whilst Samuel, who plays football for Nakuru Allstars FC, will take on the skills round

·         JEZI NYEUSI – Ephatus Nyambura,24 na Samuel Papa,23 kutoka Nairobi watatarajia kushinda zaidi ya $3,000 USD walizopata katika hatua za kitaifa na robo fainali.Ephatus atajibu maswali wakati Samuel anayechezea Nakuru Allstars atakuwa mchezaji.

·         IN RED - Kenneth Mukuri , 26, and Chris Mwamgi, 19, are from Nairobi.   They will be hoping to go all the way after struggling to win more than $1,500 on the GUINNESS Money Wall in their National episode.  Kenneth will be the teams Brain while Chris will be the Brawn. 

·         JEZI NYEKUNDU – Kenneth Mukuri,26 na Chris Mwamgi,19 kutoka Nairobi watakuwa wakitarajia kushinda zaidi ya $1,500 USD walizopata katika hatua za kitaifa.Kenneth atakuwa kichwa cha timu wakati Chris atakuwa mchezaji.

CAMEROUN:

·         IN GREEN - Emerand Tchouta, 24 and Abdul Salam, 25 have a total prize fund of $6,500 after hitting target 4 on the GUINNESS Money Wall in their Quarter-Final.  Brain Emerand and Brawn Abdul will now be hoping to captalise on their winnings and make it all the way to the final

·         JEZI ZA KIJANI – Emerald Tchouta,24 na Abdul Sam,25 ambao wana jumla ya $6,500 baada ya kulenga lengo namba nne katika robbo fainali.Sasa Emerald na Abdul watacheza kuwania nafasi ya kufuzu fainali.

GHANA:

·         IN BLUE - Emmanuel Kofi Okarku, 27 and Isaac Aryee, 25 from Accra in Ghana will be playing for their West African nation as they hope to win the episode and become Pan-African champions.  They already have $3,000 USD and pro footballer Isaac will need to once again put his skills to good use while Emmanuel tackles the knowledge questions 

·         JEZI ZA BLU – Emanuel Kofi Okarku,27 na Isaac Aryee,25 kutoka Accra Ghana wataichezea nchi yao kutoka Afrika magharibi ili kufuzu fainali.Tayari wana $3,000 USD hivyo Isaac atahitajika kuonesha kipaji chake cha kucheza wakati Emanuel atajibu maswali.
