While he was in town for the premiere of his new film Oblivion, someone special took the time to attend the premier of the perfect pint.
Today Tom Cruise showed that even when you’re in town to attend the premier of your epic film Oblivion, no trip to Dublin is complete without dropping into the Storehouse
Wednesday 3rd April 2013, GUINNESS rolled out the red carpet to welcome one of the world’s most famous actors, Tom Cruise at the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE in Dublin, Ireland.

Cruise, joins other global stars such as American President Barrack Obama  who has been seen enjoying a GUINNESS on numerous occasions, most recently for St Patrick’s Day:

Cruise jetted into Dublin today, as part of his worldwide tour for his latest movie, “Oblivion” accompanied by highly acclaimed Director Joseph Kosinski and the lead lady in Oblivion, former Bond girl, Olga Kurylenkoe.

They were treated to a private tour of the Guinness Brewery where Guinness Head Brewer, Colin O’Brien demonstrated the craft behind the brewing process and even handed the reigns over to Cruise who started his very own brew, which once complete will be specially delivered to Mr. Cruise as a keepsake of his trip to the home of Guinness.

Following the behind the scenes tour of the Brewery, Tom was whisked up to the highest viewpoint in Dublin city, the Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse where Master Brewer Fergal Murray was on hand to teach him how to pour the perfect Guinness.

Cruise who was visibly excited about his surroundings, was then given a ‘windows tour of Dublin’ by Guinness archivist Eibhlin Roche highlighting key landmarks such the Phoenix Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College and Croke Park
Managing Director at the Guinness Storehouse, Paul Carty said “What an exciting day for everyone in Guinness Storehouse, and indeed in Dublin, to welcome Tom Cruise through our doors. He is an absolute gentleman! We are thrilled he took the time out of his hectic schedule to join us and learn some of the craft and legacy behind Guinness”.
