Hayati John Franklin Chekani
Alizaliwa tarehe 15 Machi 1953 Mbeya na alifariki Ijumaa ya tarehe 20 Januari 2012 baada ya kuugua kwa muda mfupi na akazikwa nyumbani kwake Mkongeni Mzumbe-Morogoro tarehe 28 Januari 2012.
Familia ya marehemu John Franklin Chekani wa Mzumbe- Morogoro, wanatoa shukrani zao za dhati kwa madaktari na manesi wote wa Hospitali ya AghaKhan -Dsm Tanzania na Hospitali ya Roman Catholic ya Windhoek-Namibia, waliojaribu bila kuchoka kuokoa maisha ya mpendwa wetu.
Pia tunamshukuru Katibu Mkuu na wafanyakazi wote wa TAMISEMI, Mkurugenzi na wafanyakazi wote wa Mfuko wa Bima ya Afya (NHIF) Tanzania, Mkuu wa chuo, mlezi, wafanyakazi na wanafunzi wa chuo cha Polytechnic, Mch. Noleen West na washarika wote wa kanisa la mtakatifu George, familia za Bw. Tomeka, Bw. Mahindi, Mwenyekiti,na wanajumuiya wote wa Tanzania wanaoishi Namibia waliojitokeza kwa moyo mmoja.
Shukrani za dhati pia ziwaendee Mrs. Jane Fatukubonye, Mariam Mbegu,na wanajamii wa Mkongeni na Mzumbe kwa juhudi za uwezeshaji wa msiba huo. Pia tunazishukuru kwaya zote zilizoshiriki, kwaya ya mzumbe, ya Dodoma na kwaya ya kibaha na wachungaji wote walioshiriki katika msiba.Pia tunawashukuru wote ambao kwa namna moja au nyingine wamewezesha kutufariji katika kipindi hiki kigumu cha kufiwa na mume , baba na babu yetu mpendwa

Shukrani za dhati kabisa ziwaendee wote mliotufariji na kuwa nasi kwa namna mbalimbali. Ahsanteni kwa maombi yenu,faraja zenu na msaada wote wa khali na mali katika kipindi hiki kigumu.

Mr John Franklin Chekani utakumbukwa sana na mke wako mpendwa Susana, vijana wako Franklin and Jumbe –Victor, binti yako Anneth, mkwe wako Catherine, mama yako mpendwa Annes Cynthia, wajukuu wako Nicole na Susana , dada zako, kaka zako na ndugu wote na marafiki.
Misa ya shukrani itafanyika nyumbani kwa marehemu tarehe 11 februari, 2012 kuanzia saa 3 kamili asubuhi. Misa hiyo itafanyika nyumbani kwa marehemu Mzumbe Morogoro. Wote mnakaribishwa.

APPRECIATION
Born 15th March 1953 Mbeya and suddenly death after short illness on Friday 20th January 2012 and laid to rest at Mkongeni Mzumbe-Morogoro on 28th January 2012.
The family of the Late John Franklin Chekani of Mzumbe- Morogoro, would like to express their sincere heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses of AghaKhan Hospital-Dsm Tanzania, Roman Catholic Hospital in Windhoek-Namibia, who tried tirelessly to save the life of our Beloved one.We also thanks Permanent Secretary and staff of PMO RALG, Managing Director and staff of National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) Tanzania, The Rector, Dean, Staff and Students of Polytechnic, Rev. Noleen West and church members of St Georges’ Cathedral, family of Mr. Tomeka, Mr. Mahindi the chair, and all other members of Tanzanian Community living in Namibia for their Heartfelt support. Special appreciation goes to Mrs. Jane Fatukubonye, Mariam Mbegu,and members of Mkongeni and Mzumbe village for their coordinative role. We also thank all the choirs that participated, Mzumbe choir, Dodoma and Kibaha choirs and all reverends who conducted the service. We also thank you all who in one way or another supported and joined us at a very difficult time during the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Mr John Franklin Chekani your are greatly missed by your dearest Wife Susana,Your sons Franklin and Jumbe –Victor, your daughter Anneth, your daughter inlaw Catherine,your beloved Mother Annes Cynthia, granddaughters Nicole and Susana , your sisters, brothers, relatives and friends.
There will be a memorial service at the residence of the late Mzumbe, Morogoro on Saturday 11th February starting from 9 am. you are all welcome
